My Nepalese friend served me this tea at her place recently. It was the first time I ever tried it. This hot drink was so nice, a bit creamy (but not too much), and the blended spices used in the tea was so subtle and just nice (perfect for cold weather). She was making this tea from scratch - free style, no measurement as always. I literally saw her chucked the sugar to the pan using her hand (not spoon). LOL. The tea needed to be strong as you will add a lot of milk later.

  4. Turned off the heat and pour your masala chai to a mug with a strainer.
  5. Add your sweetener of choice and adjust to your liking (I am using brown sugar). Enjoy your fresh brewed masala chai tea.
